Background

The reformatted Township ordinance is now available at http://www.municode.com/resources/gateway.asp?pid=14234&sid=22

The Township Planning Commission recommends changes of Township Zoning Ordinances to the Township Board of Trustees for their consideration and approval.  Suggested ordinance revisions are welcome and will be considered by the Zoning Ordinance Amendment Committee (ZOA) that is a subcommittee of the Planning Commission.  The ZOA meets periodically then presents its recommendations to the Planning Commission during public meetings.  Public hearings are scheduled before any changes to the ordinance are finalized.

Pending Revisions

The following revisions to the Zoning Ordinances will be available for comments at a public hearing to be held on November 9, 2009 at 7:30pm at the Township Hall.  After review by the Planning Commission the ordinances will be recommended to the Board of Trustees for adoption:

bullet

bullet

New wind turbine ordinance.

It is anticipated that these proposals will be sent to the Board of Trustees in the later this year (2009).
